Finchley Baptist Church’s mission is to see lives changed through the power of Jesus Christ so that the kingdom of God can be enhanced. This includes serving the community in a Christian way so that the light of Christ can be evident through the Church’s interaction.
Our mission is to enhance lives in the community and to show that the Church is not just a building, but that the Church is a body of people, who through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, aim is to see lives transformed.
Our mission is to help others who are less fortunate than us in the community and beyond.
Matthew 25:35-37 “for I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me”.
The church every Thursday hosts a Day Centre Brunch Club for the elderly in the community, which includes a 3 course meal, engaging in a friendly environment.
We also have twinned with the Philippine International Baptist Church, which has enabled us to support them in an active and practical way in the light of
Matthew 25:35-36.
